Arangetram

To support her impoverished family, Lalitha sacrifices her dignity and becomes a prostitute after being exploited by men who take advantage of her desperation. When her family discovers her past, she is rejected, but a compassionate neighbour and his son accept her, though her painful experiences leave her mentally disturbed.
